Prime Area is supported by a dedicated team responsible for the management, customer support, moderation and continued development of the platform.
To provide transparency and clarity within our community, this post introduces the different roles within Prime Area and explains their respective responsibilities.
Leadership
Project Founder
The Project Founder holds overall responsibility for Prime Area and its long-term direction.
The role is responsible for major strategic decisions, the overall vision of the project and ensuring that Prime Area continues to develop in accordance with its goals.
Project Management
Project Management is responsible for the strategic and organizational development of Prime Area.
Responsibilities include project planning, coordination, long-term development, internal organization and overseeing major initiatives.
Management
Staff Supervisor
The Staff Supervisor serves as the Head of Staff and is responsible for the management of the entire staff structure.
The role functions as the primary Human Resources authority within Prime Area and acts as the connection between Leadership and the operational Staff Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Staff management and personnel administration
- Reviewing and managing staff applications
- Promotions and staff development
- Disciplinary procedures
- Maintaining and developing the staff structure
- Supporting team leadership
- Monitoring staff activity and performance
- Resolving internal staff matters
The Staff Supervisor has overall responsibility for ensuring that the Staff Team operates effectively and professionally.
Staff Team
Administration
The Administration Team is responsible for the technical and organizational administration of Prime Area.
Responsibilities include:
- Discord and server administration
- Management of bots and technical systems
- Roles and permissions
- Technical issues and troubleshooting
- System configuration
- Handling complex or escalated cases
- Supporting other departments where necessary
Administration works closely with the Staff Supervisor and the respective team leadership.
Head Support
The Head Support leads the Support Team and is responsible for its organization and overall performance.
Support primarily focuses on assisting paying customers and handling issues related to purchases, products and services offered by Prime Area.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and supervising the Support Team
- Overseeing support tickets
- Handling escalated customer cases
- Establishing and maintaining support procedures
- Supporting and training Supporters
- Ensuring consistent support quality
Support
Supporters are permanent members of the Prime Area Staff Team responsible for customer support.
They assist customers with questions, technical issues, purchases and other concerns related to Prime Area.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing support tickets
- Assisting with purchases and products
- Troubleshooting customer issues
- Answering customer questions
- Handling customer-related requests
- Escalating complex cases when necessary
Supporters have the necessary permissions to efficiently resolve customer-related issues.
Head Moderator
The Head Moderator leads the Moderation Team and is responsible for its organization and overall performance.
The Moderation Team focuses on maintaining a safe, respectful and well-managed environment across the Discord server and forum.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising the Moderation Team
- Organizing moderation procedures
- Ensuring compliance with community rules
- Handling serious or escalated rule violations
- Supporting Moderators and Global Moderators
- Improving moderation procedures and standards
Global Moderator
Global Moderators perform an extended moderation function across Prime Area.
They handle more complex moderation cases and provide support to the regular Moderation Team when additional authority is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Moderating the Discord server and forum
- Handling rule violations
- Removing users when necessary
- Applying appropriate disciplinary measures
- Supporting Moderators
- Assisting with complex moderation cases
Moderator
Moderators are responsible for the day-to-day moderation of the Prime Area community.
Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the community rules are followed and that the Discord server and forum remain welcoming and well-managed.
Responsibilities include:
- Moderating community discussions
- Moderating the forum
- Handling rule violations
- Taking appropriate moderation action
- Assisting community members
- Reporting serious cases to higher-ranking staff
Moderators are volunteer team members and are not responsible for customer support.
Helper
Helpers assist the community with general questions and everyday issues.
They are often the first point of contact for new members and provide basic assistance before a matter needs to be escalated to Support or Moderation.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering general questions
- Assisting new members
- Providing information about Prime Area
- Directing users to the appropriate department
- Supporting the Moderation Team when required
Public Relations
PR
Public Relations is responsible for the public image and external communication of Prime Area.
PR operates independently from the Staff Team and focuses on communication, promotion and public-facing content.
Responsibilities include:
- Public announcements
- Social media communication
- News and promotional content
- Community outreach
- Event promotion
- External partnerships and communication
PR does not form part of the Staff Team unless an individual also holds a separate Staff role.
Retired Staff
Retired Staff
Retired Staff is awarded to former team members who have made a significant contribution to Prime Area during their time on the Staff Team.
The role serves as recognition of their previous work, dedication and contribution to the project.
Retired Staff members no longer hold active Staff permissions.
Once part of the team, always part of Prime Area's history.
